Summer camp runs Monday through Friday, 10 am - 2 pm.  The camp day will consist of 1 - 1 1/2 hours of supervised riding and 1 1/2 hours of basic horsemanship activities (grooming, tack cleaning, etc.) and then a horse-related activity to conclude the day.  Counselors are available for one-on-one instruction.

*The second week of camp, July 4th week, the camp will run from Tuesday, July 5th through Friday July 8th, 10am - 3pm for this week only.  All other camp weeks will be Monday through Friday 10 - 2.

Weather permitting, we plan on one day of camp each week to consist of a trip to Pound Ridge Reservation with the horses, for a picnic and a trailride.  Parents are invited to attend.  Children will be notified of the day at the beginning of each camp week.

The cost is $525 per week.  Please be sure your child can attend the week you choose as the checks are non-refundable.  Checks are to be made out to Echo Farm.  All reservations and checks must be received by June 1st, 2011.  Please include reservation form, below, and a completed release form, located elsewhere on this site, with your check.  Thank you.

BARB'S BOOT CAMP

To be announced.

• Covers riding theory and use of aids, stable management, safety around horses in barns and when riding.

• Riding each day will include:  dressage, cross-country and stadium. 

• Showing - equitation/hunters. 

• Trail riding, the ins and outs.

• Riders must be at least 10 years old and  have some jumping experience.

• $650 for the week, $250 advance registration fee.
